With the release of her new robot movie, you could say that Megan Fox has gone full circle following her big break in Transformers all those years ago.
But we are definitely seeing a different side to the actor in her latest film, now available on Netflix.
The sci-fi thriller takes a look at the dark side of AI, as the story follows struggling father Nick (Michele Morrone) who needs help while his wife Maggie (Madeline Zima) recovers from illness.
As a solution, he purchases a highly advanced robot named Alice (Fox) to look after home affairs.
However, Alice’s self-awareness as a robot develops into a violent and romantic obsession with Nick.
So far, viewers have been a little divided by the film, and that is reflected in the Rotten Tomatoes ratings.
The critics have given it a 48 percent score on the Tomatometer, while general audience members are scoring it at 54 percent on the Popcornmeter.
“Wow Subservience was awesome it’s like Terminator meets I, Robot with a splash of The Hand That Rocks The Cradle it was so good @meganfox was perfect casting definitely check it out on Netflix,” one person thought.

“I hate when a movie has a good story or idea but terrible execution. Watching Subservience on Netflix and the set ups in this movie are so ass and then the acting sucks. It’s like everybody looking to steal the show with their acting and it sucks,” agreed a second user.
Some were urging Elon Musk to cool it with the highly-anticipated release of his robots.
“Have y’all seen the Subservience movie on Netflix??? Uh uh! We do not need the robots!! Find something else to do Elon,” another penned.
“I’m watching Subservience on Netflix. I’m definitely buying Optimus if Elon makes it look anything like Megan Fox,” someone else joked.
